Building a Healthier Jackson County

Building a Healthier Jackson County is the strategic approach to building a collaborative and vested public health system throughout Jackson County. Partners from organizations throughout the region come together to participate in a strategic approach to public health.

Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP)

MAPP is a strategic approach to community health improvement. As a tool, MAPP helps communities improve health and quality of life through a community-wide and community-driven strategic planning process. Through MAPP, communities seek to achieve optimal health by identifying and using their resources wisely, taking into account their unique circumstances and needs, and forming effective partnerships for strategic action.
